Here at Washington Lure & Bait we
offer an assortment of proven fishing lures,
"Spoons" for both Trolling and Casting. This year's featured
lure is our "Blue Smelt" A Nickel lure with a transparent blue stripe.
It measures 2 3/4" with out size 6 hook
by 5/8" wide. This lure also has a fish scale finish. We've fished
this lure a lot the last couple years and have had very good and consistent results with
Lake Trout and Land Locked Salmon.
I'm now proud to offer the book " Field Guide To New Hampshire Trout Ponds". This book offers fishing in formation for over 90 ponds across N.H. Please read the full description on the "Book" page. Another addition, this year we took a Copper Trolling Flutter Spoon and added a Florescent Red Stripe. We call this one "The Hunter". Not only has this lure done well with Lake Trout and Salmon, but also Rainbow Trout. This has shown to be another great performer. All our Copper Lures are coated to resist tarnish.
The Trolling Flutter Spoon is
offered in two styles. The "WIDE SIZE", and the narrow
Original Flutter Spoon. The WIDE SIZE was new for 2003 and we found it to be
very productive for Lake Trout and Salmon. The narrow original shape is a
terrific bait fish imitation and is also a proven favorite for Lake
Trout and Landlocked Salmon. The original Flutter Spoon comes in two weights, trolling and casting. It's long narrow profile
and erratic action makes it a favorite whether fishing for Trout, Pickerel, Perch
or Smallmouth Bass.
We also offer a pair of Casting Spoons in the
traditional "Tear Drop" shape. These are available in two
sizes 1/8 Oz. and 1/4 Oz. These also are good for Trout, Pickerel, Perch or Smallmouth Bass.
Fished in Lakes or Streams
Our Casting Spoons and Flutter Spoons are currently priced at only
$1.25 a piece, regardless of style, weight or color. The painted Flutter Spoons are $1.50. See our full
selection on the Lure Page. Orders
can be made two ways, using "Visa-MasterCard" or
"Mail In". Find more details on the Order
Info. page A new feature that we have included this fall is a "Help" page for fishermen called "Ask Gill". If you have any questions or problems about why you aren't catching fish drop Gill an E-mail at "askgill@fishwlb.com" and he will be glad to answer them. Questions and answers will be printed on the "Ask Gill" page. Remember there is no such thing as a silly question but with Gill there sure are plenty of silly answers. Washington
